Port Royal Plantation is Hilton Head’s only private and completely residential community, situated on the northeast coast of the island. There is no commercial development or short-term rentals allowed in Port Royal, making it a unique and special experience for its residents.

16 tennis courts and a croquet court can be found at the Port Royal Racquet Club. The Port Royal Beach House and adjacent Olympic sized swimming pool and kiddie’s pool overlooks the Port Royal Sound and includes access to the beach for residents and their guests.
Beaches & Boating
The private beach at Port Royal Plantation has been named one of the “Top 10 Family Beaches” in the country. Fishing experiences are available in the freshwater lagoons, saltwater estuaries, Port Royal Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.
Parks and Conservancies
The Cypress Wetlands is an extraordinary place to observe South Carolina’s native birds, alligators, tropical plants and other wildlife. Watch dolphins and go beachcombing at The Sands boardwalk.
Other Points of Interest
The beach house hosts many social events for the community year round, including an annual "Snowflake Ball" in January, “Low Country Boil" in summer, and November's "Festival Italiano". The beach house is available for weddings and private parties.
