Originally owned by Sea Pines, Hilton Head Plantation was developed in 1971. The area serves as a top destination for many due to its ideal location and historic aesthetic. Located on the northern section of Hilton Head Island, the plantation rests on 4,000 acres making it the perfect residential spot with bordering historic cities being a few hours away.

Plantation House, with a full kitchen, hosts many group meetings and classes, can be rented for parties.

The community pool features a lazy river, zero entry kids zone. Cabanas, lounge chairs, restrooms open 

Spring Lake Pavillion can be rented and used for events with full kitchen, rest rooms and outdoor deck area.

 

Beaches & Boating

Skull Creek Marina offers both deeded and rented slips. 

Dolphin Head Park overlooks the Port Royal Sound with playground, volleyball, basketball courts, pavilion waterfront, with the Bluff Walk - The Bluff Walk’s primary purpose is to service the revetment that protects the Bluff. It has a secondary use as a recreational leisure path. The Bluff Walk is .9 mile, one-way  

Beach - Located in the Dolphin Head Recreation Area – two miles of walking beach

10 miles of biking/leisure paths

 

Parks and Conservancies

Parks include the Dolphin Head Recreation Area, Spring Lake Pavilion and the Surrey Lane ball fields.

Whooping Crane Pond Conservancy and the Cypress Conservancy allow visitors to appreciate the natural beauty of the island.

Fishing allowed with permit in Spring Lake.

The local community farm allows residents to rent plots and participate in the seasonal farmers’ market.
